We recognize that most of our couples have never planned an event for more than 50 people and it can be pretty daunting!  We are here to help.  Our recommended list includes vendors we enjoy working with and those we have spoken to or who come highly recommended by people we trust.  This list is reviewed and updated regularly

Catering

We have an open catering policy allowing you to bring in the caterer of your choice (if you want to hire a caterer we haven't met, we will invite them out for a tour and verify the will be successful at our venue!)  We also allow self-catering and buffet drop but but we STRONGLY recommend you hire staff to assist with service and clean.

Bartending

We allow beer, wine, champagne and hard alcohol in the form of signature cocktails (1 1/2 ounce per drink).  No shots or individually ordered drinks are allowed. All alcohol must be served by your Class 12 licensed and insured bartender.   Table service, champagne toasts, and kegs are allowed when served by your bartender.  Most full-service caterers also provide bartending.

Staffing

Staffing helps your event run smoothly.  Grandma, friends, and family are often assigned the task of professional staff to save some money during an event.  They are guests at your party--please let them enjoy your day.  For a relatively small cost, you can have professional staff to bus tables, clean up cups and napkins left around by your guests, set out your appetizers or desserts, restock the water  carafe in the keurig, and manage the marshmallow stickiness at the s'mores bar.  Some staffing companies will assist with childcare, decor, and packing up at the end of the night!  A good ratio of staff is 1/80 guests with a minimum of two people.

Party on the Rocks

Raina provides 4 hours of crafts and activities for up to 8 children.  The kids love the crafts and the parents love being able to enjoy the wedding knowing their children are also having fun.  Raina can be reached through Gray Bridge (she is one of our adult daughters and is fluent in Spanish.)

A great DJ will keep your event on schedule, your guests will stay informed, and everyone will have a great time dancing the night away!   We feel that a professional DJ is money well spent!

Florists

In addition to amazing bouquets, wedding florists provide table top florals AND table decor for your event.  Floral swags for the arbor, bouquets for the boat, and displays on the wine barrels are all floral options that look amazing!
